About Us
Peterhouse Investments India Limited is a Public Limited Company domiciled in Kolkata, India, incorporated on 12th November 1979, formerly named Shauma Vanijya Pratishathan Ltd., under the Companies Act, 1956.
The Company changed to its present name consequent upon the fresh certificate of incorporation dated 23rd September 2009.
The Company is engaged in the business of Non-Banking Financial Companies and is registered with the Reserve Bank of India for the same.
The Company mainly carries on the business of dealers in shares, stocks, debentures, debenture-stock, bonds, obligations, units, securities, and other investments.
Promoters
The major equity paid-up share capital of the Company is held by the Jhawar Group of Families. Mr. Prashant Jhawar and Mrs. Anupama Jhawar are the main promoters as of date.
